Urban Realty Partners' principals possess over six decades of combined experience in all major aspects of real estate investment and development with strong ties to the Atlanta marketplace. The team has participated in the development of over $500 million in urban and in-fill real estate projects.

Mark B. Riley – Managing Partner

Mr. Riley founded Urban Realty Partners in 2000.  He began his career as a real estate attorney at King & Spalding and later joined Trammell Crow Residential (1985-1990) and Cousins Properties (1990-1998).  Mr. Riley received B.A. and J.D. degrees from Vanderbilt University.  He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Congress for the New Urbanism.

Robert Hughes – Development Partner

Mr. Hughes is responsible for all phases of the organization’s project analysis and execution.  These responsibilities include underwriting, feasibility analysis, site selection, financing and development management.  Mr. Hughes received a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He joined the company in 2004.

Simon J. Tuohy – Financial Officer and Development Partner

As Financial Officer, Mr. Tuohy is responsible for the facilitation of all company financial matters.  His primary role is handling financial reporting and tax work for the organization, as well as the financing and funding of current and future projects.  In addition, he is taking the lead in investigating new investment opportunities for the company. Mr. Tuohy received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.   He joined the company in 2005.

Sean Donahue – Development Partner

Mr. Mitchell received a Master’s in Real Estate Development & Design from the University of California – Berkeley. He joined the company in 2020.

John Reagan – Development Partner

Our Valued Partner from 2001 to his death in 2022. We appreciate his many contributions to the success of the Company and may he rest in peace.
