Urban Realty Partners' principals possess over six decades of combined experience in all major aspects of real estate investment and development with strong ties to the Atlanta marketplace. The team has participated in the development of over $200 million in urban and in-fill real estate projects.
Mark B. Riley – Managing Partner
Mr. Riley founded Urban Realty Partners in 2000. He began his career as a real estate attorney at King & Spalding and later joined Trammell Crow Residential (1985-1990) and Cousins Properties (1990-1998). Mr. Riley received B.A. and J.D. degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Congress for the New Urbanism.
John Reagan – Development Partner
Mr. Reagan’s career began in architecture with several Atlanta firms before forming his own practice in 1979. His work included a wide range of project types including historic renovation, industrial, medical, housing, hospitalilty and education. Mr. Reagan received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He entered the development business in 1998 and joined the company in 2001.
Robert Hughes – Development Partner
Mr. Hughes is responsible for all phases of the organization’s project analysis and execution. These responsibilites include underwriting, feasibility analysis, site selection, financing and development management. Mr. Hughes received a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He joined the company in 2004.
Simon J. Tuohy – Financial Officer and Development Partner
As Financial Officer, Mr. Tuohy is responsible for the facilitation of all company financial matters. His primary role is handling financial reporting and tax work for the organization, as well as the financing and funding of current and future projects. In addtion, he is taking the lead on investigating new investment opportunities for the company. Mr. Tuohy received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University. He joined the company in 2005.
Mr. Donahue works on all phases of project analysis and execution, including underwriting, feasibilty analysis, site selection, financing and developemnt management. Mr. Donahue received a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He joined the company in 2015.
Mr. Gwinner has a background as an architect, program manager and developer with over 35 years of experience. His previous experience includes positions in project management with The Coca-Cola Company and Turner Broadcasting. He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
